Job Description
- Provide project / program management expertise and leadership in the execution of complex IT application and infrastructure projects
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives that span across different business capabilities, acquiring valuable insight as to how parts of the organization impact one another
- Apply project management principles, processes to drive appropriate organizational change in a global development environment
- Make effective use of enterprise PPM tool, available dashboards and reports to collect project metrics data e.g. completed and in-progress work, schedule and cost variances, resource health, risks and issues etc.
- Manage and direct the assigned project resources to best meet the project objectives
- Plan and direct schedules, monitor the project from initiation through delivery within the constraints of budget, schedule, the agreed scope and quality requirements
- Understand cross team dependencies and organize the interdepartmental activities and other project specific information and regularly communicate it to the project stakeholders
- Manage project communications and meetings (Daily Stand Up Meetings, Project Reviews, Ad-Hoc Requests)
- Manage or maintain the project execution logs associated for Risks, Actions, Issues, Key Decisions and Meeting Minutes
- Provide regular project status updates to the project sponsor and the leadership team
Experience/ Qualifications:
- 10 to 12 years of experience in IT Project Management with proven track record of leading complex projects through to completion
- Thorough understanding of project management concepts and knowledge areas
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem solving & leadership skills
- Experience of working in shared resources environment with teams based across different time zones
- Knowledge of Planview Portfolios (or any other enterprise PPM tool) for overall project tracking, Jira for tracking Agile development and SharePoint as collaboration tool
- Solid decision making, organizational and prioritization skills
- Good understanding of budgeting, estimation and project financial management, timecard management
- Change/Release management
- PMP, ACP or similar certification with good understanding of project management and methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
- Experience of delivering Infrastructure projects will be an advantage
