- Coordinate and track localization projects from initiation to delivery across multiple languages and markets
- Support with admin support task for localization process (Annual forecast activity, creating purchase orders etc)
- Submit source files (jobs) to the L10N vendor via the translation management system (TMS), manage translation queries, and deliver translated files to product teams. Manage hand-off and hand-backs with vendor and internal team.
- Maintain localization tracking tools, dashboards, and documentation
- Assist in scheduling and managing translation, Web based courses, and review cycles
- Ensure adherence to localization processes, style guides, terminology, and brand voice
- Monitor and track vendor SLAs, quality issues, and process gaps
- Support engineering, content, and product teams in localization queries or file preparation
- Help maintain Translation Management System (TMS) configurations, project templates, and workflows
- Perform linguistic or functional checks (if qualified) and raise issues to the appropriate owners
- Support QA coordination for in-context or post-localization testing (as applicable)
Required skills:
Functional/Technical Skills:
- 2–3 years of experience in localization project coordination or project management support
- Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., Project Director, Smartling, Phrase, XTM, Memsource, or SDL Trados)
- Experience managing vendor relationships with Language Service Providers, cross functional teams
- Basic understanding of file formats (e.g., JSON, XML, HTML) and CAT tools is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Clear and effective communicator (written and verbal) for communication with stakeholders across BMC stakeholders, and localization vendor teams.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
